Today’s Song: “Old School Yard” by Cat Stevens
Once again, I changed my idea of what this blog was to be about, last minute of course. This time because I discovered something amazing. Well, something extremely useful.
Registration made easy
What a concept right? Registration has always been a little bit of a pain in the you-know-what. If you’re allowed to take all the classes you need to take then you still have to work out all the times and RamWeb isn’t made to be convenient. So what do you do? I’ve made my own schedules, written times
down, clicked every option until it works, and now, I use MyEdu.com
The website is simple. And useful for most colleges and universities. You sign up by adding your name, your college, your major, your degree, and your expected graduation date. Then you finish it off with your email and a password and bam, you’ve got access to all the classes at CSU offers.
Working schedule
What’s nice about MyEdu, is that you have a working schedule that you change easily by clicking out of classes and sections and adding others—without having to leave the page.
Basically, you search for a class, in the same way as RamWeb, through the class code or looking through the classes that each department has to offer. Then, below your weekly schedule, it offers each time the class is available. And you can add it or try another simply by clicking another box. And if you accidently add two classes at the same time, no worries, it’ll show both of them and you can delete one of them easily.
This is the first semester I’ve used MyEdu, and like those who introduced me to it, I swear by it.
Until Tuesday, enjoy registration!
