MyCSU dives in with Special Needs Swim

October 7, 2009

Volunteering is an important part of being a CSU Ram for Cassandra Gully. Cassandra volunteers for Special Needs Swim, a project operated through SLiCE that involves spending time in the pool with members of the community who are disabled. Cassandra, a sophomore majoring in music, volunteers with the group once per week. She is also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Special Needs Swim is always looking for more volunteers. Interested students can visit the program’s Web site at http://www.slice.colostate.edu/special-needs-swim.aspx. Volunteering with the program is a year-long commitment that involves volunteering and reflection.
