Brewing up quality public relations with PRSSA

At CSU, students interested in public relations can join the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). Members of PRSSA have opportunities to network with professionals, attend workshops and seminars, and travel to conferences around the country. A delegation from the CSU chapter will travel Nov. 6-10 to San Diego for the PRSSA National Conference.

Ashley Frost, a junior majoring in technical journalism, is the president of CSU’s chapter of PRSSA. As president, Ashley coordinates events and speakers that will help students hone their PR skills. In this video, PRSSA members learn about media relations from Bryan Simpson, the Media Relations Director at New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins. Turns out even breweries need good PR!
